What's New For BB11? • 07/06/2010

Big Brother 11 is just around the corner and we’re sure there are going to be some huge surprises once the housemates are in. However, Channel 4 have announced a few changes for this final series (boo hoo!) already to get us in the mood – and now we’re even more excited than we were before…

First off, the live feed is back – for a small fee, you will be able to watch what’s going on the house 24-7 online so you won’t miss a moment of the action. There will still be a live feed shown on E4 but it won’t be constant, so if you can’t bear to look away for even a second then you’ll need to sign up for the exclusive online package.

Pictures of the house were released on Friday night and this year’s theme is fairly whimsical with a carousel in the garden, walls decorated with clowns and strongmen and sleigh-like  beds in the bedroom with a horse print adorning the wall. There is also even less privacy than ever before with many of the interior walls and doors made of glass – which will make it light in the house, but also means that there’s nowhere for the housemates to escape each other...

Emma Willis, who presented all the online extras for Celebrity Big Brother earlier in the year, will be joining George Lamb to present Big Brother’s Little Brother on E4. So now there’s an extra reason to tune in for all the latest gossip from the house, behind-the-scenes footage and of course special guests giving their opinions on all the housemates and goings on in the house.

Davina has also revealed that this year it will go back to being just her who interviews the housemates when they are evicted – rather than the panel approach we saw last year. This should mean that Davina can focus on finding out all the juicy insider information, fresh from the horse’s mouth, from the house without any distractions (and hopefully no booing from the audience!)

Davina also has some advice for future housemates – “Hang back for the first couple of weeks... and get to know people”– judging by past years we think that’s wishful thinking, Davina! There are always a few too many big personalities who just can’t help themselves...
